Batterer's Intervention Program (BIP)

The focus of our Batterer's Intervention Program (BIP) is to eliminate violence within the home and assist the batterer in developing personal responsibility for his or her behaviors, understanding the fundamentals of anger, learning effective coping strategies and recognizing cyclic behavior. This 52-week program utilizes the Domestic Violence Inventory (DVI) to assess the clients' risks and needs not only at the onset of services but throughout the entirety of their services as well. Non-victim-blaming strategies are utilized to embed the concepts of the program and provide a basis for continuing success.

Our BIP is accredited by the Oklahoma Attorney General's Office.
